For those of you who have no idea what I’m talking about: Hopeless/Sub City Records introduced Take Action as an opportunity for bands and fans to connect and represent causes that mean something to them. They put out a compilation CD every year, along with a really kick ass tour that goes to charity!

We checked out Take Action Tour Monday night in NYC.. Caught up with our label mates There For Tomorrow and enjoyed all of the other bands sets on the package. We had an awesome time and met some really great people. It was cool to see how many people came out.  For a reference, here’s a picture i took while Mayday Parade was playing! (who ruled btw)

NOW WATIC NEWS!!!!!!

We’ve been on tour and writing our butts off these last few months.

1. We just got back from our tour with Secret Secret Dino Club! If you don’t know who they are check them out ( www.myspace.com/secretsecretdinoclub ) awesome dudes for sure. We’d like to think we gave back to the environment on this tour… We shared our van and trailer…and we shared our bassist Mike. Thus saving gas….and another bassists energy?haha
2. RECORDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You’ve all been asking when we are releasing our EP and i must say you’ve all been patient :) We start recording with Zack Odom and Kenneth Mount in Atlanta GA on Monday! We’ve been dying to get back into a studio environment and are really excited to work with these awesome dudes! I can’t wait to go, but I also  actually can’t wait to leave GA in a way…knowing that our EP will be finished :D ExcitedExcitedExcitedExcited!
3. TOUR: From GA we’re headed out with our buddy and soon to be buddy Swimming With Dolphins and Places & Numbers. We’ll also be hitting up Never Say Never and SXSW on this tour! We’ve never done either so we’re definitely stoked on that..it’s always a good time in Texas! So please check out the dates below. Hope to see you there! :)
